Job Details:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions for managing water resources, including surface water conveyance, aquifer studies, and water sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills, the ability to interpret complex data, and a deep understanding of water resources. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement water resource management plans and projects focusing on water sustainability, surface water conveyance, and aquifer studies.
2. Conduct detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
3. Utilize advanced techniques and tools for modeling and data interpretation to evaluate the impact of projects on water resources.
4. Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
5. Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, and project managers to meet project objectives and deadlines.
6. Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing water resource infrastructure.
7. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the field of water resource engineering.
8. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to water resource management.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in water resource engineering, with a focus on water sustainability studies, surface water conveyance, and aquifer studies.
3. Strong technical writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
4. Proficiency in using software for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and data interpretation.
5. Certified Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of water resource engineering.
