Job Description:

• Position Details:
  • 7 full-time positions available
  • Starting July 23rd, 2024, through May 2025
• Grade Levels:
  • Positions available for Elementary to High School
• Classroom Types:
  • Resource rooms and Self-contained/EMD (Emotional/Multiple Disabilities) classrooms
• Work Schedule:
  • Most school start times between 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Teachers are expected to report to work around 7:15/7:30 AM
• Primary Duties:
  • Plan and deliver effective instruction based on student needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the school district

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
• South Carolina Special Education Teaching License or ability to obtain
• Strong munication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with students with diverse needs is preferred

Additional Information:

• Full-time positions with 37.5 hours per week
• Positions are onsite only
• Positions available in Resource rooms and Self-contained/EMD classrooms across Elementary to High School levels
