Onsite Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Needed Near Clute, TX - ASAP Start!

Are you a certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) looking for a new opportunity? Are you a passionate and hard-working educator? We are partnering with a school looking for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) near Clute, Texas for the remainder of 23/24 school year, with opportunities to extend into next school year.

Position Details:

• 04/22/2024 - 05/24/2024
• Full-Time / 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload: 35-40 students, K - 12th grade age range, travelling between several school sites as needed
• Pay Range: $25 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, utilizing appropriate teaching strategies, materials, and assistive technology.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure accessible educational materials and technology are available for students with visual impairments.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support students' access to the general education curriculum.

Requirements:

• Must have an active Texas License in Visual Education
• Must have a Master s Degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
