We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement individualized education plans aligned with student goals and objectives.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration activities, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
