Mine Production Operator

Job Title: Mine Operator (Full Time)

Hourly Rate: $23.35-$33.05

Role & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for making equipment adjustments to ensure proper specifications are met

· Responsible for performing quality checks and recording results

· Responsible for changing settings on equipment during changeovers.

· Responsible for properly recording all production numbers into MDIS system.

· Responsible for performing some routine maintenance on equipment

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Able to work in a mining/manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety rules and practices. Recognizes and reports unsafe conditions or hazards within work area.

· Ability to learn to operate plant equipment, including fork truck, skid steer, and underground utility equipment.

· Familiar with common hand tools and how to properly use them. (Hammer, drill, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, tape measure, etc.)

· Ability to troubleshoot minor issues within a process.

· Good communication skills needed with all co-workers. Manual labor is required.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
