Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Pay: $18.70 / hour

Job Summary: 

Under moderate supervision the Production Specialist is responsible the assembly and testing of the electro mechanical assemblies used in the production  large format digital displays. Works on assignments utilizing the process procedures called out for each product line.  Expected to participate in minor trouble-shooting projects. Assists the team in meeting the goal of on-time, high-quality delivery to their customers.

Essential Functions: 

• Works in conjunction with the Team Leader on daily work assignments to meet customer commitments
• Accurately completes shop order moves, conducting weekly cycle counts and assist with production inventory troubleshooting, so that shop floor database information is up to date and can be used to make customer delivery commitments
• Typically is certified at level 1 or 2 on most equipment in area
• Follows Manufacturing Process Instructions in order to process product properly and to minimize operator error, handles product carefully
• Uses written and verbal communication to relate equipment and process information to others
• Changes direction to accommodate work priorities as instructed
• Suggests improvements to ensure consistent production, quality standards, reduced costs and increased efficiency
• Performs equipment set up and process verification procedures on multiple pieces of equipment
• Performs visual inspection of all units and determines if pass/ fail criteria are met
• Responsible for quality and quantity of finished work

Other Responsibilities: 

• May be a Peer Mentor
• May participate on improvement Team
• May assist with documentation process
• May work in other work centers and/or departments
• Provide feedback as requested for LAMP process

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment doing assembly, inspection, test and measurement procedures is preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience
