KeyStaff is seeking a Warehouse Associcate for an industrial supply company located out of Grapevine, TX.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

  • 8AM-5PM

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for accuracy and quality, and unload them from trucks or containers. Check inventory against packing lists and invoices.

Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory by properly storing items on shelves, pallets, or in bins. Use inventory management systems to track stock levels, restock as needed, and conduct regular cycle counts.

Picking and Packing: Fulfill orders by selecting and preparing products for shipment. Ensure that items are picked accurately, packed securely, and labeled correctly for delivery.

Shipping and Loading: Prepare products for outbound shipping, including labeling, palletizing, and loading onto trucks. Coordinate with carriers and complete shipping documentation as required.

Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects, report any issues to supervisors, and follow quality control procedures.

Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and maintain equipment as needed.

Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the warehouse clean and organized. Maintain clear pathways, tidy storage areas, and ensure that safety equipment is accessible and in good condition.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory counts, and any discrepancies. Complete paperwork and electronic documentation as required.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and other team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if required), and willingness to obtain necessary certifications.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions (if the warehouse is not climate-controlled).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
