Safety System Engineer

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety of Naval operations? We are seeking an aspiring Safety Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with Naval systems and operations, contributing to the safety and security of maritime activities. Responsibilities: Conduct safety assessments and evaluations of Naval systems, equipment, and procedures to identify potential hazards and risks. Develop safety plans, protocols, and procedures in compliance with Naval regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to integrate safety features into the design and development of Naval systems. Conduct safety audits and inspections of Naval facilities, vessels, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols. Investigate incidents and accidents involving Naval operations, analyzing root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Provide safety training and guidance to Naval personnel on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to Naval safety engineering. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required.
