Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for accurately processing vendor bills, reconciling statements, and maintaining effective communication with vendors and colleagues. This is a temporary-to-hire role with the opportunity for growth within our company.
Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temporary-to-Hire
- Location: Benbrook, Texas 76126
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
- Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (some OT required first week of the month)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Enter and process vendor bills accurately and in a timely manner
- Process credit card transactions and ensure proper documentation
- Respond to vendor communication requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain regular and effective communication with management and colleagues
- Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Perform other duties as required to support the finance department
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounts Payable
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and analytical
