QMACS, Inc., a well-established medical billing company located in Richardson, Texas. Currently we are seeking a full-time Medical Billing Manager to oversee office operations. The Medical Billing Manager is a member of the revenue cycle leadership team and supports operations to achieve optimal results.
** Previous Medical Billing and Managerial experience required **
DUTIES
- Act the leader for and liaison between satellite office and headquarters office in Richardson
- Manage and coordinate team tasks and activities
- Provides education, training, and productivity support for office employees
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely claim submission
- Perform necessary follow-up actions for pending claims
- Responsible for proper and accurate personal and team productivity documentation
- Work closely with HQ Operational team to meet objectives
- Stay abreast of industry changes and updates
- Protect sensitive information by adhering to professional industry standards; company policies and procedures; federal, state, and local requirements.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years’ previous medical billing experience required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Complete understanding of the medical billing revenue cycle management process
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, formulas) Required
- Analyze information looking for trends and anomalies
- Very strong leadership, motivational, and coaching skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Good time management skills
- Quality results focused
- General math skills
