Locum Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Oncology)

Our client in Eureka, California is in need of a locum oncology NP/PA to provide coverage at their outpatient clinic starting June 15th and ongoing. Please see further contract details below -

• Position: Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Medical Oncology (Contract/1099 Position)
• Pay: $110/hr
• Contract Dates: June 15, 2024-Ongoing (3+ month commitment)
• Facility: Outpatient Facility connected to hospital and chemotherapy center in Eureka, CA
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
• Coverage Details/Practice Settings: 100% Adult; Outpatient; 10-12 patients per day; office staff is 3 MDs, 2 PAs, 4 NAs, 3 RNs, and multiple ancillary staff; duties include chemo clearance and routine follow ups, manage care, scans, keeping up with tasks/inbox, communication with team etc.; EMR is Epic

Allow 30-90 Days for Credentialing

• Active California Medical License
• BLS Certification
• 2+ years experience in oncology as an APP
• Prior experience with EPIC
• Privileges required as clinic is connected to hospital
