Residential Carpenter

Full-Time (Great Temp to Hire Opportunity)

1st Shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Must be available for overtime as needed)

Pay Rate: $20.00 to $23.00 Per Hour (Based on experience)

Paid every Friday!

Responsibilities:

Proficient in framing with a strong understanding of related skills.
Conduct trim carpentry, including constructing or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
Familiarity with interpreting blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
Knowledge and skill in drywall installation.
Proficiency in painting.
Perform demolition tasks, including jobsite protection and removal of damaged or unnecessary sections of structures.
Follow job plans and schedules as set by the Project Manager.
Adhere to established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools, wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
Ensure quality control of workmanship and materials.
Manage jobsite materials and clean up worksite debris.

Requirements:

Ability to receive and follow instructions from the Project Manager and clients, with effective communication skills among co-workers.
Capability to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
Detail-oriented and consistently alert to ensure safety.
High school diploma preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in residential carpentry.
Strong ability to follow directions and a comprehensive understanding of job site safety, including completing company-specific safety orientations.
