Electrical Estimator

Stryker Electric is seeking an experienced electrical estimator to join our team in Palm City, FL. As an electrical estimator at Stryker Electric, you will be responsible for putting together competitive and accurate project bids. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure project success. We practice quality over quantity and invest in extraordinary people. • Identify project opportunities and assist with bid preparation
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate material and labor estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and engineers to develop comprehensive bids
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to evaluate project requirements and scope
• Maintain current knowledge of construction industry trends and standards
• Evaluate and update internal cost databases and estimators
• Attend post-bid meetings and participate in contract negotiations as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred but not required)
• Accubid, Bluebeam, NetSuite, and Procore experience is a plus
