Position Overview: Join our dynamic engineering team as an Electrical Engineer, where you will lead the design, development, and testing of control systems for innovative testing equipment. You'll be essential in creating detailed electrical schematics and control circuits for industrial applications, including furnaces and ovens. Your expertise will guide the specification and procurement of advanced electrical components and ensure our designs meet rigorous industry standards such as IEEE, UL, NEC, and CSA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer and refine electrical systems for machine and industrial automation, focusing on safety and efficiency.
• Draft and oversee electrical and controls documentation across multiple projects.
• Design control logic and interfaces for PLC, HMI, and Ethernet applications.
• Analyze and specify system components such as transformers, breakers, and controllers up to medium voltage levels.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with field service and production teams to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Engage directly with clients to support sales and resolve technical queries.

Requirements

Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years relevant experience or an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with 5-10 years experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor Pro, and the MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated experience with PLC’s, HMI’s, and temperature control systems.
