Job Description
Scope of Responsibility: Assist departments with completion of basic laboratory tasks, including assisting with formula prep, organizing files, inventory, working on spreadsheets and data entry.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Position Requirements: Qualifications based upon education, resume and/or work experience.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Good oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting in the lab
- Completion of spreadsheets
- Research as needed.
- Data entry and file maintenance
- Shredding sensitive/confidential documents
- Organizing paperwork
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements:
This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the lab. The employee will need to be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Conditions inside the lab and generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment.
