Electrician Helper / Apprentice

JDV Electric of Lansdowne, PA is seeking to hire a full-time Electrician Helper / Apprentice to assist our experienced electricians while learning the trade. Are you mechanically-inclined? This apprenticeship comes with a competitive wage of $15-$20/hour depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ELECTRICIAN HELPER / APPRENTICE

As an Electrician Helper / Apprentice, you are eager to learn! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at JDV Electric. Working closely with leadership in the field, you perform quality repairs and installations as per all current electrical codes. As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything from how to maintain all safety standards 100% of the time to how to interact with customers and price jobs.

You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. You enjoy interacting with clients, as well as your fellow employees. You also spend some of your time taking classes and continuing to expand your knowledge and skills. You are excited to be part of our apprenticeship program and can't wait to advance in this stable and well-paid electrical career!

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of residential electrical experience (existing and/or new construction)
• Driver's license and clean driving record
• Physically able to lift 75+ lbs
• Ability to get in/out of service trucks, attics, and under houses
