Job Description
Job Summary:
Morristown Nissan has an immediate opening for a knowledgeable, organized, and customer service driven Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing incoming customer service requests and selling service plans and packages. The Service Advisor must possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to handle high-energy customers while ensuring a successful outcome resulting in satisfied customers.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a commission-only position. We offer a competitive Commission structure with bonuses for hitting targets.
Responsibilities:
•Greet incoming customers, assess customer needs and respond promptly
•Receive and accurately analyze customer requests related to service repairs
•Maintain customer records including vehicle history and repair orders
•Advise customers about service issues and make recommendations
•Educate customers about available service options
•Collaborate and communicate with mechanics regarding customer service needs
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of service repairs, labor procedures, and escalation procedures
•Monitor and address customer complaints promptly and professionally
•Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering consistent high-quality service
Requirements:
•High school diploma/GED
•Two or more years of experience in customer service
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Ability to multi-task and prioritize
•Strong attention to detail
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Knowledge of automotive parts and repairs
•Ability to work with minimal supervision
