Essential Job Duties

Observe rules governing privileged communications and confidential information.


  • Types, formats and mails correspondence via certified US mail and email on behalf of attorneys, members and the firm.
  • Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes when needed. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Research returned mail and attempt to locate alternate address.
  • Answer telephone calls and forward messages as required.
  • Works independently and within a team to coordinate division of workload when necessary, ensuring all letters are completed daily.
  • Files all correspondence in office document management system. Ensures accuracy of filing.
  • Route original mail received back to appropriate parties.
  • Answer incoming calls from members, verifying information and following applicable scripts.
  • Hybrid position, some in-office work required.


Second Job Duties:

  • Special projects as required.
  • Other tasks/projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Provide accurate information for departmental reports as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time.
Requirements:


Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.2+ years of clerical/administrative experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills/focus with demonstrated composure, ownership & professionalism.
  • Accurate and proficient typing skills (50wpm).Intermediate skill set in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and with good grammar (both verbal & written).
  • Self-motivated (requiring minimal supervision) with strong multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply new information in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within policies/procedures to meet/exceed deadlines.
  • Must be reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Must live in the North Texas area (Tarrant County and contiguous counties).Required typing score: 50 wpm.
