The Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties Inc. is looking to fill the position of Clubhouse Manager. We are currently looking for a full-time manager, 40 hours a week, pay rate is $21.00 per/hour. We have a site in Catskill and Hudson.

The Youth Clubhouse is a Youth Recovery Community Organization that has drop-in centers in Columbia and Greene Counties. Our mission is to provide resources and support to all young individuals within the community who are in recovery, who are seeking recovery, or who have been impacted by substance use disorder (SUD). We also welcome all young allies in the community who have been impacted by SUD and who support recovery! We provide Peer Support services and youth led programming to empower young people to work collectively to achieve personal and shared goals related to recovery and wellness. Through providing a safe, non-judgmental, reliable, thriving environment for members to participate, experience joy, achieve, and succeed, we see individuals achieve self-actualization, self-sufficiency, and personal recovery. Connections with the Community help youth, families, and professionals build sustaining positive support systems and foster opportunities for young people to overcome the current culture of addiction.


Job duties include:


· Oversee day to day operations of Clubhouse sites.

· Comply with HIPPA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of Clubhouse members.

· Follow policies outlined by the New York State Justice Center for Mandated Reporting.

· Provide on-site management, supervision, and support to staff, volunteers, and participants, including regularly scheduled meetings.

· Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events and programming with staff and participants.

· Keep clear and open communication between all locations, staff, and program director, including events, use of clubhouse, meetings, and transportation.

· Oversee social media accounts and public facing calendars. Keep them updated.

· Meet with and link participants with community resources and foster their varied paths to recovery. Provide crisis intervention when necessary.

· Coordinate and facilitate evidence-based practices, peer led support groups, and skill building workshops that adhere to grant deliverables.

· Collect and report data.

· Complete all training requirements. Coordinate training for staff.

· Keep up-to-date knowledge regarding recovery and services offered in the community.

· Coordinate Advisory Committee participation and meetings.

· Develop relationships with partners and providers in the community.

Requirements:

· Must have an associate degree in related field, bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Must have the ability to model abstinence or recovery from substance use.

· Have knowledge and understanding of substance use and recovery.

· CRPA certification is a huge plus.

· Must have at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.

· Have a strong working knowledge of substance use, harm reduction recovery.

· Have leaderships skills, be a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

· Maintain professional relationships with staff, providers, participants, and the community.

· Must have prior experience and ability to engage with the youth and young adult population.

· Ability to work outside normal business hours, nights and weekends for events, trainings, and community meetings.

· Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to demonstrate providing clear guidance and instruction.

· Self-starter who works independently and with community. Maintains professional relationships with clubhouse members, staff, and providers.

· The ability to model healthy boundaries and relationships.

· Regular and steady attendance is a requirement for all positions.

· Ability to work with a diverse population of urban, suburban, and rural cultures and with community members from varying socioeconomic backgrounds.

· Demonstrate a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
