Accounts Payable
This individual performs the accounts payable responsibilities and additional general accounting functions determined by the Controller.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Accounting degree desired
- 1-2 years of accounting experience in manufacturing
- Experience in coordinating and maintaining sound accounting practices and procedures
- Experience with spreadsheets; MS Office products a plus
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- AP Invoice processing
- Daily data entry into the accounting system
- Research and resolve vendor invoice inquiries, statements, and discrepancies
- Process daily mail and scan it into the system
- Identify, route, and resolve invoice errors
- Process debit and credit memos
- Prepare various vendor correspondences
- Check runs
- Special projects as assigned
