Job Description
Back-up care for children and adults as needed throughout the Houston Metro area. Shifts will vary (4-12hrs) and you can work when available.
Duties:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children/adult in a safe and loving environment
- Engage care recipient in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, ensuring they receive proper nutrition
- Assist with homework and educational activities to support learning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces
- Follow parent/guardians' instructions regarding daily routines, discipline, and any specific needs or preferences

Requirements
- Previous experience in adult & childcare, sitter, home health aid, CNA, or related roles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities
- Strong communication skills to interact with care recipient of different ages and their parent/guardian
- Ability to provide a safe and secure environment
- Experience with infant care, special needs, & dementia is a plus
- Previous experience in adult & childcare, sitter, home health aid, CNA, or related roles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities
- Strong communication skills to interact with care recipient of different ages and their parent/guardian
- Ability to provide a safe and secure environment

Qualifications
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
- First Aid Certification
- A passion for working with children
- Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus (not required)
- Willing to go through extensive Background Check
- Willingness to show proof of immunizations (MMR, Varicella, TDAP, Hep B)
- Current TB Skin Test
