Financial Analyst

This position may assist with monthly reporting, and will have a primary focus on forecasting, data management, and spearheading new projects that will enhance corporate value and advance the reporting capabilities and data used in making decisions.

The Candidate should have/be:

• At least 2 years of financial analysis or management accounting experience
• BA/BS degree in accounting or finance
• Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Strong systems background
• Experience with Budgeting and forecasting and financial modeling, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, primarily in Excel
• Experience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual results
• Accounting and general ledger experience, monthly close process
• Data management experience
• Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and outside vendors
• Able to work independently
• A self-started, take initiative type of person, ability to meet deadlines
• Detail oriented, good at preparing and reviewing financial reports

Beneficial skills include:

• Access or other data base experience
• Cost analysis/Cost Accounting
• System implementation
• Sage
• DataRails or similar excel centric data base system
• Mining, Construction, or other heavy equipment background
