Machine Operators - Immediate openings NOW in Sealy Tx.
Temp To Hire
1st Shift
Pay $15/hr

Position Summary: Ensure all production goals are met in a safe manner while producing quality forgings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure you are working safe and following all safety procedures.
  • Use heat treat furnaces to properly heat treat forgings to meet internal requirements or customer/industry specifications.
  • Loads items to be treated into the furnace and brings the metal to a specified temperature.
  • Monitors all gauges and controls during treatment to make sure they are working correctly.
  • Hardens metal by heating it to the required temperature and quenching it in oil, brine, or other
    solutions.
  • Tempers (i.e. relieve internal stresses) steel made brittle by heating treatment by re-heating to a lower
    temperature than previously
  • Uses special instruments to test the hardness of treated metals.
  • Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
  • Standing, bending, sitting, lifting up to 50lbs, squatting and walking for 8 to 10 hours per day.
