Medical Technologist - PRN Day/Night Shift

Performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Days, nights or weekends. One (1) year clinical lab experience preferred. BS Degree and ASCP/AMT certification required. Must be able to work independently and be proficient in all areas of the Laboratory. Must be proficient in Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Transfusion Services, Urinalysis, Phlebotomy, and Specimen Processing.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Medical Technology from four-year college or university;
2. One to two-years related experience and/or training;
3. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
4. Must be certified Medical Technologist.
5. Must be registered with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent or eligible.
