Auto Service Technician

Job Summary:
Pritchard Companies t is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Service Technician to join our team. As a full-time technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on various makes and models of vehicles. This is an individual contributor role where you will be utilizing your technical expertise to diagnose and address any issues with vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and computer systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components, such as brake pads, spark plugs, and belts
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems with vehicle systems
- Follow manufacturer's recommendations for repairs and maintenance
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and obtain necessary approvals
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry advancements
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto service technician
- Certification from an accredited automotive technician program
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to continue education and training as needed
