TITLE: Information Specialist - Programs

REPORTS TO: Program Advisor

LOCATION: Office Location to Be Determined

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly Employee

Job Summary: Career Team's Information Specialist - Programs will be assisting Program Advisors by tracking and supporting the daily activities and outcomes of Center staff as related to Program operations, quality, quantity, and performance goals. The position will report to the assigned Program Advisor.

Your Impact on Career Team's Success:

  • Program Training Support
    • Assist Program Advisor by tracking program changes to identify training needs.
    • Assist with updating SharePoint staff resources as directed.
    • Assist with staff training as needed, including tracking attendees and content covered.
  • Program Operational Support
    • Maintain program resource updates.
    • Review and confirm staff case action requests as directed by Program Advisors.
    • Back-up operational positions as needed / assigned.
    • Perform special reviews as directed by Program Advisors.
    • Attend and assist with all program meetings and training.
  • Program Performance
    • Assist in monitoring program performance by running/reviewing system reports.
    • Assist in preparation for / response to monitoring / audit reports as directed.
    • Review folders to ensure audit corrections as directed.
    • Track audit findings for identification of (re)training needs.
  • System Support
    • Track reports of CMS system issues for communication as appropriate.
    • Assist with assuring quality of virtual case storage.
    • Assist with monitoring trackers, Issue Trak, and other systems to assure program implementation and performance quality.

To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have:

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college and university with a bachelor's degree in business, public administration behavioral science or related field.
  • Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive.
  • Ability to serve as a role model to customers (internal and external) and motivate them towards achieving goals.
  • Personal computer literacy required, including effective use of the Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed goals and objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational and communication skills, both oral and written required.

Hourly Wage: $17
