Job Description
Description:

Be a Part of Something Amazing

In between supporting a global sales force (that we call "demonstrators") and creating the world's best stamps, ink, and paper, we carve out a little time for parties, perks, and basking in the glory of an amazing work/life balance.

Sound like something you could get behind? Good. Because we're looking for people just like you - who are good at what they do and are passionate about helping others.

Did We Mention the Perks?

Here are a few of the other perks we offer:

  • A wicked-awesome benefits package (go ahead and compare)
  • A Friday dress code every day of the week (dust off those jeans)
  • Extreme crafting experiences (totally optional, but give it a try)
  • Paid personal time off...like, a lot of it (see "work/life balance" above)
  • Tuition assistance and 401(k) programs (company match, baby!)

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Exemplify Stampin’ Up!’s core values: we care about people first, we act with courage, we better our best and we own it.
  2. Partner with company managers to fill open positions; sourcing candidates through the most effective channels; facilitating the selection process focused on identifying the best cultural, value and responsibility match; and notifying all candidates of position disposition.
  3. Facilitate the on-boarding process for new hires including working with managers to have any necessary equipment ready, scheduling first day activities, and participation in New Hire Orientation.
  4. Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  5. Advise managers and employees in resolving concerns regarding conduct and performance; encouraging constructive dialog so interested parties own their part in the problem and the solution and ensuring the resolution is balanced between the best interests of the employee and the company and within fair employment standards.
  6. Manage the facility’s safety program including facilitating the worker’s compensation claim and drug testing processes; providing safety training; and identifying opportunities to improve safety and minimize accidents and injuries.
  7. Partner with HR and other teams to coordinate and facilitate employee events, communications, training, and other programs.

Requirements:
  1. BA/BS in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. A minimum of three years’ experience in Human Resources with experience in recruiting, conducting investigations, coaching supervisors on performance issues and mediation.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws relative to employee relations, discrimination, fair employment, ADA, personal privacy, etc., and experience in applying government regulations to company policy.
  4. Ability to extract accurate information from individuals and exercise best judgment in making decisions.
  5. PHR and or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
