Comp: $16.50/hr. - $17.25/hr.
Shift: 1st (6am-4:30pm M-Th, OT Friday), 2nd (4:30pm-3am M-Th, OT Friday)
Job Description:
We are currently searching for Warehouse Material Handlers with experience handling materials related to the shipping and receiving of inventory and customer orders. Forklift experience preferred, certifications a plus.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Become familiar with the products handled, including color coding and customer specification.
- Unloading and receiving of inbound stock shipments and loading of outbound shipments, including all paperwork necessary to perform these duties.
- Load trucks in a safe manner, including chaining and tarp trailer.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations on load weight preferred.
- Ability to read all measuring devices.
- Ability to follow safety and operations processes and procedures.
- Communication skills verbally and written.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Ability to lift to 50lbs.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
