Dining Assistant - Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth

$25.00 to $30.00 per hour (base plus tips)

Responsibilities

  • Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to table.
  • Clear tables after guests leave. Take dishware to the dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server immediately.
  • Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and guest service.
  • Reset tables promptly and correctly.
  • Communicate with the hostess to ensure that all guest needs are being met.
  • Show flexibility in terms of your schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the dining room manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness.
  • Be a team player; help fellow employees when possible.
  • Participate in any other job-related duties assigned by F&B Manager.

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements

Ideal for someone breaking into the service industry, room for advancement

Requires a pleasant personality and neat appearance. Knowledge of food items and experience in serving food and beverage preferable. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs desired. Must be able to stand for long hours and lift at least 20lbs.
