Our client is a global leader in advancing cancer diagnostics & in workflow solutions and automation, integrating each step in the workflow. They are the only company to own the workflow from biopsy to diagnosis.

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for daily activities and providing support for Production Scheduling, Customer Service and Sales. They will ensure the accuracy of shipment scheduling, and be required to follow all domestic and international compliance and shipping procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the scheduling of all outbound orders using various shipping methods.
• Creating and maintaining accurate shipping documents.
• Coordinating shipments with transportation suppliers and arrange for pickup of customer orders.
• Works effectively with other departments to schedule deliveries and pick-up of returned products.
• Identifies and reports performance metrics as it relates to department goals and objectives.
• Receiving - match receipts to PO's, transact items into the ERP system, and move them to their appropriate storage location.
• Ensures inventory accuracy through timely inventory transactions and accurate data entry
• Organize and maintain warehouse and inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cGMP warehouse
• Ability to understand transit times and methods of shipment
• Experience working with an onsite shipping system & with shipping couriers
• Experience in drafting all export/import documentation.
• Ability to provide and document information related to shipments
• Attention to detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracy
• Strong telephone, verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
• General office and computer skills, with experience using MS Excel.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred)
• Minimum of 2 + years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment with experience performing material transactions using traditional inventory control systems.
