Design & Engineering Internship (Undergraduate & Graduate Students)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Design & Engineering Internship offers an immersive experience tailored for Junior, Senior and Graduate-Level College Students passionate about the intersection of design and engineering. We have on-site, off-site, and hybrid internships available. As an intern, you'll delve into real-world projects, applying your academic knowledge to practical challenges in a dynamic environment. This opportunity is designed for students seeking to enhance their skills, gain hands-on experience, and explore potential career paths within the realms of design and engineering.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) VeroTouch requires that the applicant has sufficient ability to complete the required tasks outlined in essential duties/responsibilities along with the physical means and skills outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the design and engineering process
• Assist in the creation of design concepts, prototypes, and technical drawings using industry-standard software tools
• Participate in project planning, research, and analysis to support decision-making processes
• Conduct testing, evaluations, and iterations to refine designs and optimize performance
• Communicate ideas, progress, and findings effectively through reports, presentations, and discussions
• Embrace opportunities for learning and professional development through mentorship and training sessions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education
  • Junior or Senior Undergrad or or Graduate student in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related discipline
• Experience
  • Strong academic record with coursework in design principles, engineering fundamentals, and relevant technical skills
  • Proficiency in CAD software, modeling tools, and other design/engineering software platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to tackle complex challenges
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse personnel
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• Skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both collaboratively and independently in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and construction methods
  • Flexibility to evolve in a startup environment
