POSITION PURPOSE

Needed to teach courses in exercise science occasionally. Examples include courses on nutrition for sport and exercise, strength and conditioning, and exercise testing and evaluation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide instruction in a classroom environment as determined by supervisor
  • Hold regular office hours on a weekly basis
  • Respond in a timely manner (2 working days) to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors
  • Use university technology as directed (institutional email address, submission of grades, etc.)

SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW & SKILLS

  • Master's degree in associated field.
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate level
  • Professional experience in field would be valued

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk;
  • No or very limited physical effort required;
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
