Job Title: Program Director - Mental Health Clinic
Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead our Geriatric IOP program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in mental health services, and a passion for community education and outreach. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of program operations, including staff management, program development, community engagement, and ensuring high-quality mental health services are delivered to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Staff Management:
- Provide strong leadership to clinical staff, including therapists, and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and professional development.
- Develop and implement staff performance improvement plans as needed, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
Program Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand and enhance mental health services offered by the clinic, aligning with the organization's mission and goals.
- Oversee the development and implementation of evidence-based treatment programs, ensuring they meet the needs of diverse client populations.
Community Engagement and Education:
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including local schools, healthcare providers, and social service agencies, to promote mental health awareness and access to services.
- Plan and implement community education and outreach initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and events, to raise awareness about mental health issues and reduce stigma.
- Represent the clinic at community meetings, conferences, and events, advocating for the needs of our clients and promoting the clinic's services and programs.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards governing mental health services, including HIPAA and state licensing requirements.
- Monitor program outcomes and client satisfaction through regular data collection and analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience in mental health services, including leadership and supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in community engagement, education, and outreach.
