Skills: • Use of micrometers, calipers, scales • Experience in reading & interpreting work instructions, blue-prints and drawings • Machine aptitude, experience in operating production equipment and machinery • Experience with tooling and fixtures a plus • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills • General computer skills • Ability to manage time and prioritize responsibilities • Able to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion • Must be highly motivated, self-starter and work as a team player • Must have high levels of attention to detail and quality, be able to multitask and stay organized • Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally • Must be able to occasionally move about in production areas as needed • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Education: • High School Diploma or GED or
POSITION GUIDELINES: • Ability to follow detailed instructions. • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks. • Must embrace change • Ability to work in a TEAM environment. • Clean and maintain work area. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Setup and operate fabrication equipment, not limited to Core-Drill, Trim Saws, Grinders and CNC Lathe • Quality inspection of product using proper measurement and gaging equipment • Responsible for product quality • Troubleshoot production issues and work with Manufacturing Engineer to resolve • Ability to read a blueprint/part drawing • Troubleshoots machines that are not at peak performance and finds solutions to problems • Must meet and maintain daily production targets (once fully trained) • Wear proper personal protective equipment as necessary including but not limited to: eye and hearing protection, safety shoes, lab coats, gloves, dust masks and respirators. • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary. • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Experience/Background: • 1+ years’ experience with CNC Machinery • 1+ years of relevant experience • Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a U.S. person or protected individual within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines U.S. persons and protected individuals as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), U.S. Temporary Resident, Political Asylee or Refugee.
