Bilingual Collector
Pay Rate: $34,000 a year/$16.34 an hour
Location: Conroe, TX 77301
Hours: Contract to Possible Hire; Monday- Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
A national law firm specializing in government debt collection is seeking a Bilingual Collector to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Contact and collect taxes with delinquent business, personal property, and mobile home owners
- Utilize conflict resolution skills.
- Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities.
- Communicate with other departments as needed.
- Serve as primary backup to the Taxpayer Liaison.
- Answer phones, assist taxpayers, and create payment agreements.
- Process payments, disbursements, and mail.
List Qualification or Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver license, car insurance, and a clean driving record are required.
