2nd SHIFT PRESS ASSISTANT

2nd Shift

This is a Temp-to-Hire position

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am

JOB SUMMARY

The responsibility of a press assistant is to help with production runs. This is accomplished through job prep, press assistance during the production run, and cleanup of the press and job materials after the production run.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Setting up orders
• Mounting plates
• Pull tooling
• Pull inks
• Requesting stock required for job (communicate need to Materials Handler)
• Press clean up
• Print units
• Trash
• Clean print plates
• Forklift License (not required)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Good hand/eye coordination
• Able to read a ruler

ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Physical strength and stamina
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Must be able to remain on feet for long periods of time
• Standing
• Walking
• Flexibility
• Bending
