Responsibilities

Project Engineers/Senior Project Engineers prepare and review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates related to a variety of civil site, land development and water / wastewater projects. They may also help develop the project scope and fee for services and assist the project team in communicating with the client and meeting contractual obligations to move a project forward. They will design and maintain ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with local, state, and federal officials, and other outside agencies. They may also supervise the work of technical support personnel assigned to the project. This position is ideal for those who enjoy the technical aspects of engineering and represents McGill's technical track for registered professionals.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in design of civil site / land development / water / wastewater engineering projects.
  • Municipal experience preferred.
  • PE licensure or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license.
