Embassy Suites Jacksonville Baymeadows is currently seeking a Kitchen Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning of china, glassware, silverware, and food prep items while maintaining sanitization standards.
Primary schedule will be from 6am - 12pm weekdays and 7am - 2pm on the weekends (subject to change)
Responsibilities
- Adheres to food sanitation standards, including storage of kitchen equipment and cleanliness of the food prep area
- Cleaning and sanitizing all china, glassware, silverware, and food prep items
- Completing floor runs on all guest room levels to ensure all china, glass, and silverware are returned to kitchen and properly sanitized in a timely manner.
- Complies with safety requirements
- Understand how to gauge and check the temperature of the dishwasher/dishmachine
- Keeping areas clean in the surrounding dish area and sweeps and mops floors in consistent intervals
