Job Description
Civil Project Engineer Responsibilities:
Designsite development plans for a variety of projectsincludingwastewatermanagement, drainage, residential and commercial land development,environmental and coastal permitting,anddock design.
Producecomprehensive plansand reports, along with other essential project documentation.
Collaborate closely with regulatory agencies, clients, and sub-consultants to facilitateand complete the project.
Employ AutoCAD Civil 3Dto create grading plans, profiles, road designs, and intricatedetails
Thoroughly research regulatory prerequisites and design standards.
Execute intricate calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadwayenhancements
Foster seamless collaboration with drafters, designers, and administrative personnel to ensure projects are completed efficiently and withinbudget
Civil Project Engineer Qualifications:
Possession of aRhode IslandState PE license
A minimum of5years of hands-on experience in local site development design, with a strong preference for those with a background in residential development
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a strong preference for those with a proficiency inHydroCAD.
Proficiency in land development and state regulations.
Ability tomulti-taskandcompletedifferenttime-sensitive projectsat once.
Ability tolead andwork in a team environment.
History of client communications as well as town/state communications and interactions.
Strong writing/grammar skillsand the ability to communicate clearly,conciselyand professionally with architects, builders and owners.
Detail oriented
Civil Project Engineer Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary ranging from $95k to $125k, contingent uponexperience
