Job Description
In this position, you will drive a tractor/trailer rig on a daily route as assigned. Requires ability to drive Monday – Friday and some Saturdays, back up to a loading dock, and complete electronic logbook, including pre- and post-trip reports.
Key Responsibilities
Safely pick up and deliver loads assigned by Dispatch each day, keeping in mind that each load is being delivered to a customer; it is our goal to provide that customer the highest quality of service.
Complete assignments accurately. When unable to do so because of misinformation, attempt to correct issues in a manner that is satisfactory to the customer and to BSI. If unable to do so, contact Dispatch.
Maintain electronic logbook accurately and timely.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip reports.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
