Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm, overtime as required.


Auburn Gear, LLC is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom engineered wheel drives, axle drive components, and specialty drives and solutions for diverse mobile equipment applications.

We are seeking a qualified individual for CNC Machining opportunities on 2nd shift. Successful candidates will perform all set-up and machining requirements to fabricate the customer’s needs. (See below for more details.)

CNC Operator

Essential Duties, Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Operation and set-up of machining centers and lathes
  • Ability to change and maintain tooling.
  • Ability to analyze and solve issues.
  • Ability to read blueprints, operations sheets, industrial drawings and understand mechanical systems.
  • Understand gauges and measuring devices.
  • Ability to accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, also basic knowledge of percentages and decimals as related to manufacturing.
  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Maintains safe work practices.
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude and self-starter.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • CNC machining experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting 40lbs or more
  • Able to bend, twist, push & pull, stand for prolonged periods of time.
