Production Support Specialist

Production Support (manufacturing) communicates with Production Manager(s) to help facilitate communication with customer service to give completion dates and also track expedited orders.

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of one year experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop setting
• Experience with ERP system preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
• Must have reliable transportation and work overtime as needed
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Ability to understand capacity charts and level load work centers
• Excel and Word software experience
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
• Problem solving skills a must
• Strong communication skills and a good eye to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reads and interpret written work order instructions and specifications
• Evaluate current dispatch and stage machines accordingly
• Determine location to set critical deburr jobs based on dispatch work dates and/or due dates
• Perform material handling safety procedures
• Verify accuracy of job/workmanship when performing job
• Maintain specifications by observing operations
• Adhere to all quality assurance procedures and processes
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Hours: Mon. - Fri., 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (1 - opening, sheet metal)
