Welder MIG

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading manufacturer of premium landscaping equipment in Blaine to hire 1st shift, temp to hire Welders.

These are temp to hire opportunities, once hired our client offers a pay increase, along with competitive benefits, major medical, retirement plan, paid holidays and vacation. The pay and hours are as follows:

Mon-Thurs: 6:00am—4:30pm (Friday's off)

Pay $25/hr

Welder Responsibilities:

• Arc/Gas, spot weld, and Mig Weld
• Perform difficult and specialized set up and all position welding on a wide range of similar and dissimilar metals and alloys.
• Using high degree of skill and welding technique involving a considerable number of parts, complicated weldments, and dimensions.
• Fit and position weldments having several parts, use welding fixtures and jigs when applicable.
• Regulate current and set automatic timing devices
• Work from drawings and job layouts
• Use ruler, square, protractor, templates, gauges, etc.
• Using verbal or written instruction from sales orders
• Inspects completed products for proper specifications using tape measure and square.

Welder Qualifications:

• 3-5 yrs. welding experience with MIG, ARC welding and torch cutting
• Able to perform own layouts and use jigs.
• Physically able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to work around heat and chemicals.
• Requires thorough knowledge of welding techniques
