Electrical Field Service Tech!! to 35/hr$$-Travel and Adventure!!

Travel would be approximately 1 week a month. Either regionally throughout Michigan and Ohio or to Mexico and China. All expenses paid plus 67$ a day in Per Diem. Installations and wiring take approximately 60 hours to complete, also giving you OT pay for the week you perform installations.

We are seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of new equipment at our client's site. This is a field service position for metal cutting machine tools, primarily related to, but not totally inclusive of, broach and gear generating machine tools. The position requires extensive travel throughout North America and around the globe servicing machine tool mechanical and electrical systems. Training end users on the operation and maintenance of the machines is also a primary function of this position. Overtime and occasional weekend and holiday work hours will be required on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

- Install and wire new equipment at client site.

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines

- Provide excellent customer service

- Document work performed and provide recommendations for improvements

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of Industrial or Military electrical experience, required. 5+ years' experience, preferred.

- Technical degree or certificate, preferred

- Ability to use a Multimeter and knowledge of equipment wiring, required

- PLC experience, preferred

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
