General Manager

Cigar Box Studios, Inc. is seeking an organized professional to join our team in the role of General Manager. We are a small Scenery and Specialty shop located in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY and cater to Broadway and Corporate Events.

 Responsibilities to include:

·       Ability to oversee day to day operations of business and finance.

·       Client communication regarding contracts, scheduling and payments.

·       Maintain production workload and schedule with Production Manager and Project Lead.

·       Create and track project budgets and estimates.

·        Maneuver project bids and workflow timelines.

·       Cross function with senior staff on accounting, financing, payroll, and insurances.

Skills:

·        Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship.

·        Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.

·        Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

·       Steller organization and time management

·       Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

·        In-depth knowledge of the theatrical industry.

Required:

     Minimum of 5 years of experience in theatrical management or an equivalent position.

     Salary based on experience and past performance.
