Mail Room Clerk

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties:

- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Prepare outgoing mail, including labeling and packaging
- Operate office equipment such as postage meters, copiers, and scanners
- Maintain accurate records of all mail transactions
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Perform basic data entry tasks related to mail tracking
- Keep the mailroom organized and tidy

Skills:

- Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environments
- Familiar with X-Ray Scanner
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management
- Strong organizational skills to manage high volumes of mail efficiently
- Capability to load and unload shipments safely
- Knowledge of distribution center operations is advantageous
- Ability to maintain files accurately and securely
