Banquet and Events Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced Banquet and Events Sales Manager to join our vibrant family of restaurants in a unique location. Responsibilities:

• Solicite and seek out prospective clients for special events and banquets
• Attend Chamber and Convention Center meetings to drum up event sales
• Work with the client and Chef to create tastings and event menus
• Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events with complete oversite including scheduling
• Monitor food preparation to ensure our legacy of standards
• Work hand in hand with the service team to meet the highest of service standards

Maintain a profitable revenue stream through the controlling of COGs

• Draw up contracts between the company and client to engage business
• Work and manage shifts within the onsite cafe when no events are happening

Requirements:

• Restaurant management experience
• 2+ years of upscale banquet/catering/event sales
• A polished look and speaking to engage with the area's elite
• Ability to think on your toes and solve problems before they happen
