Teacher

Minimum Qualifications-Possession of Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field. Illinois Professional Educator License(PEL) with appropriate endorsements.

Understanding and experience with curriculum design planning and instruction. Under the direction of the building principal, educator will plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students

Essential Job Skills include but not limited to;

Monitor and evaluate student outcomes as well as developing selecting and modifying instructional plans and materials to meet all student needs

Plan ,organize and provide instruction based on Common Core State Standards

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessments, diagnosis and research related to learning

Works cooperatively with the administration and staff to schedule meetings

Participate in district-wide and building committees related to educational and employment matters

Clearly communicate the instructional purpose of lessons and directions and procedures are clearly explained The educators explanation of content is clear and accurate and connects with student's knowledge and experience. Educators spoken and written language is cleasr and correct. Vocabulary is appropiate to the students' ages and interests..

Ability to effectively communicate with parents, colleagues, administration and other members of the education community

Ability to maintain emotional control under stress

Ability to use web-based programs, e-mail, and technology(laptop, Smartboard,etc effectively
