HVAC Service Technician-Commercial

Dynamic, rapidly growing, leading HVAC Installation and Service Company is looking for a self-motivated, experienced HVAC Service Technician with a Commercial background. The ideal candidate will have Four (4) years of experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems. Must possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to hit the ground running.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters, checking thermostats, and lubricating parts.
• Test HVAC systems for proper functionality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule service appointments and communicate repair options.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
• Provide guidance and support to junior technicians as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC training program or apprenticeship preferred.
• Journeyman HVAC Technician license or certification required.
• Minimum of four years of experience as an HVAC technician.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in uncomfortable positions.
