We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team to provide outpatient primary care services to our senior population.

Outpatient only (M-F 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and treat patients’ medical conditions
  • Order lab and other diagnostic testing and interpret results
  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
  • Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports
  • Perform minor procedures
  • Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients
  • Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals
  • Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals
  • Meet targets set by the government for specified treatments
  • Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives
  • Keep up to date with medical developments, treatment, and medication
  • Observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students as needed
  • Assist with supervising mid-level providers as needed.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Degree in Medicine (required).
  • 5 years of residency training (required).
  • Current Texas medical license and Federal DEA license (required).
  • 2+ years of clinical work experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Fantastic counseling and listening skills.
  • Superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
  • Great management and leadership skills.
